1. Review and describe common head and neck pathology.
2. How to talk about white/red lesions and navigate the cancer questions at your level.
3. Discuss some fewer common findings you may encounter in the dental office.
HOW DO WE TALK TO PATIENTS ABOUT IMPLANTS?
1. Discuss and review the benefits of dental implants for single and multiple missing teeth.
2. Understand options for edentulous sites.
3. Options for edentulism: Dentures, overdentures, and screwed-in full arch zirconia.
ODONTOGENIC INFECTION
1. How to identify the urgency of potential localized infections in the oral cavity and face.
2. Importance of removing 3rd molars and pathology associated with them.
3. Understand what happens when things go south with head and neck infections, beyond the dental chair.
