Commonly Prescribed Medications: The Relationship to Medical Emergencies
Recognizing the drugs listed on a patient's health history is essential in identifying and avoiding potential emergency situations.
Course Objective
List the drug classifications used most commonly in 2017-18
Identify actions of commonly taken drug products.
Describe clinical manifestation of both condition and prescription and effects affecting dental treatment.
Use websites effectively to Identify interactions between commonly prescribed drugs and drugs used in dental care.
Identify potential adverse reactions of commonly consumed drugs and describe effective strategies to prevent adverse effects during oral care.
Describe methods of management for potential medication related emergency situations.
