Principles of Public Health and Evidence based Guidelines for Preventive Dentistry
Course Objective
The first course in the series will identify essential components of preventive dentistry and the goal of public health programs.
Evidence-based guidelines for preventive dentistry is reviewed by using the current clinical practice guidelines for caries control (2018).
Access to high-level evidence from the American Dental Association (ADA) systematic review website is provided.
The 2012 ADA/Food and Drug Administration guidelines for the selection of patients for dental radiographs is provided
